The ms-iot Community Samples site is now open for business. You can list your existing projects on the site along with meta information making it searchable. http://www.sportronics.com.au/ms_iot_Community_Samples
The site is meant to be a repository of information about IoT projects so users cab find your projects simply.
http://www.sportronics.com.au/ms_iot_Community_Samples/Usage tells you how to use the site including checking out existing contributions and making a contribution.
A contribution is done by providing a Markdown (,MD) file which typically may be the ReadMe.md file you created with your GitHub project. You need to add meta information about your project in some text at the top. There is an option to generate a new MD file on the site with a pro forma (template) for the meta data. You can also directly import your existing .MD file into that pro forma.
You login to the site using your GitHub credentials. So to make a contribution start at the Contributions page:
