Day-2

On the day 2, there were two rounds of competition for the Embedded Development invitational.  After these two rounds of competition, 6 teams were selected to advance to the final round of competition which took place on day 3.

The 6 teams selected to advance to the final round of competition are:

  • Team Brainy Brownie and the Marvelous Thinker Threats Mexico
  • Team AST from Turkey
  • Team Intellectronics from Ukraine

Day-3

The intense competition continue on day 3 between to 6 finalist teams.

Day-4

On the fourth day, we have a break.  The Imagine Cup organizer planned a culture day, taking all attendees to visit Egypt’s historical landmark, the Pyramid and Sphinx.

Day-5

On the fifth and final day, the exhibition area showcasing all of the competing team was open for viewing.  Each team has their own exhibit booth to show case their project. 

The highlight of the Imagine Cup worldwide final is the World Festival.  This event was planned in the evening, at a desert location near the Pyramid.  A special stage was built on the desert not far from the Pyramid and uses the Pyramid as the backdrop for the event.  Final winning teams for Imagine Cup final were announced during the World Festival.  With the real Pyramid as the backdrop for the presentation stage, the World Festival was an amazing event, full of excitement and energy.

     

The final winning teams for the Embedded Development Invitational are:

  • First place – Team Wafree from Korea
  • Second place – Team iSee from China
  • Third place – Team Intellectronics from Ukraine

Farewell Party

After the World Festival, all attendees went back to the hotel.  A farewell party was held at on of the hotel ball room well into 3:00 AM.  Some of the attendees start to leave for the airport since mid night, many stay up through the night and went to the airport without sleeping on the last day of the event.

     

This was an amazing and exciting event…
