Webinar (May 28, 2013): Windows Embedded Compact 2013 is for Application Developers too!

Gas sensoring project with my ThingSpeak client into uPLibrary

I’m pleased to know that my library uPLibrary has become one of the most downloaded in the NuGet. for Net Micro Framework, but that is mainly used for projects that are useful and real.
In fact, the client ThingSpeak I have integrated in the latest version was used in this project of gas sensoring on TinyCLR, using the platform. Net Gadgeteer. Windows Embedded Compact 2013 is a official name of WEC vNext

Finally the WEC vNext had been named as Windows Embedded Compact 2013.As per the road map released before two days it is expected to be launched by Q2 of 2013. David Campbell has shared this news and as well some of the new features of this WEC 2013 release.Check out the blog post here.

Windows Embedded : the Road Map

Finally some more news on the future of the Microsoft Windows Embedded products with its Road Map.

As far as Windows Embedded Compact to wait until Q2 of 2013 with new assets relating to integration in Visual Studio 2012, C + + 11 and. NET Compact Framework 3.9.

Compact 7 Development on a Windows 8 System (2) –VPC

As Windows 8 uses Hyper-V rather than Virtual PC there are some issues with running the Compact 7 VPC. I can get the VPC to boot and download a targeted image for Visual Studio/Platform Builder. Read the rest of entry »
